Day 1: Tirana - Prizren - Skopje

Head to Prizren Kosovo. Explore the city’s sights, after venturing out on an included visit to Prizren’s sixth-century Kalaja Fortress. This fortress sits proudly on a hilltop above the town and gives you views over the city. Visit the House of the Albanian League of Prizren, where in 1878 the Assembly of Prizren gathered to consolidate Albanian leaders to unite and protect the country against foreign threats. Walk at Carshia e Vjeter and admire the old architectural buildings that make everyone stare and then you will walk through small souvenir shops and see the Sinan Hoxha Mosque and the St. George’s orthodox cathedral.

Head to Skopje and check in Hotel.

Suggested to do  :

  • Explore the neoclassical city centre erecting hundreds of states and revamping important buildings. While this project was controversial due to its cost and timescale, the results make for interesting viewing.
  • Walk in  Macedonia Square, where you will find a 22m (72ft) high monument of Alexander the Great. From here, cross the Vardar River via the Art Bridge, with its 29 statues of Macedonian artists.
  • Step back in time at Skopje’s Old Bazaar The largest bazaar in the Balkans and Skopje’s trading center since at least the 12th century, the Old Bazaar is a maze of small streets, packed with cafés, jewelry shops, bakeries, and haberdasheries. Its quaint cobbled lanes are home to a number of hidden treasures

Day 2: Skopje - Ohrid

Head South to the City of Ohrid. On top of the hill of Old Town Ohrid, you will visit  Tsar Samuel’s Fortress. The 10th-century fortress, which was renovated earlier this century, offers the most stunning views over Ohrid. This city has so much to offer and we will proceed with the Ancient Theatre that dates back to 200 BC. Step inside The Church of St.Sophia which is filled with beautiful frescoes from the 11th, 12th, and 13th centuries.

In the summertime, Lake Ohrid offers a good opportunity to swim in the crystal waters.

Check in Hotel and enjoy a free time

  • The old Bazaar is Lined with shops, small restaurants, and many ice cream shops this is one of the busiest places in Ohrid. Take a stroll through the bazaar, go shopping, grab some ice cream or admire some of the city’s mosques situated around the bazaar this is a place that will be hard to miss when visiting Ohrid. The Old Bazaar is the perfect place to go souvenir shopping, from Ohrid’s pearls to postcards and magnets, at Ohrid’s Old Bazaar you will find it all!

Day 3: Ohrid - St Naum - Berat

Head to Berat one of the most interesting cities in Albania.

Visit Berat Castle castle the pride and joy of the city of Berat. Step into a traditional house of a local family to taste Turkish café and Gliko. The most striking thing about this castle is that, unlike any other ancient castle, life inside its ancient walls continues to this day!

Take a walk in Berat below: its own town with houses, bars, and restaurants, surrounded by an especially lush landscape that breathes even more life into this mythical place. Walk to the new bridge and enjoy the views.

Suggested to do  :

  • Mangalem And Gorica Both districts are composed of narrow alleys of ancient white stone houses with terracotta tiles, timber doors, and fresh flower arrangements. You could easily lose a few hours exploring these ancient neighborhoods. Gorica and Mangalem are connected by the Gorica Bridge, from 1780, made up of seven arches and suffused with folklore.
  • Bulevard Republika: This is a really nice long broad boulevard lined by cafes and restaurants on one side and the Lulishtja park on the other. In the evenings it becomes absolutely full of people and has a wonderful atmosphere to it
Day 4: Berat - Apollonia - Karavasta Lagoon Tirane

Experience the Greatness of Antiquity. If we could choose the one place where you will have your most memorable encounter with history in Albania, it would have to be the ancient city of Apollonia, founded in the sixth century B.C

As if all these archeological treasures from the Park do not suffice, within its walls, you will visit the Monastery and the Church of St. Mary, which, along with the Archaeological Museum located inside the monastery. Head to Central Albania. Divjakë-Karavasta National Park is a beautiful experience for any nature lover! Karavasta national park is characterized by its forest with typical flowers which grow in the country, Mediterranean pines, and dense bushes. Make a visit to the visitor center and walk up to the tower of the Lagoon.

Return to Tirana – Drop off at your hotel.
