We will pick you up in Tirana or anywhere else and take you to the famous town of Gjirokastra, considered one of the most beautiful cities in Albania. Take a walk through the old bazaar and see its castle from where you can enjoy the view of the old town. We would like also to introduce you to Berat city of 1001 windows another UNESCO site. Which is known as one of the most charming towns in our country. There we will take you to one of the biggest castles in the Balkans to learn more about its history, architecture. And if you would like to know more about local life let’s visit a family and be their guests for a couple of hours, eat lunch with them and chat about life in Albania.

Berat is known also as a wine producer region so let’s go to a small village to taste the indigenous wines. Walkthrough the vineyards, taste fine wine, and enjoy the views of natural surroundings.

Day 1 From Tirane to Berat -History and food

Meet in the morning with the tour leader and transfer to Berat Guided tour of Berat Castle which is built during the IV century BC. Walk around the castle and pass by the most important monuments like the Red Mosque, Water Cistern, Holy Trinity Church Guided tour of the iconographic museum to see the amazing icons madden by Onufri - the great master of Albania Visit a local family who lives inside the castle of Berat - a small brake for cafe and Raki Our journey will proceed to Roshik , a small village located in the hills of Berat , famous for wine and food Taste the local wine of Roshnik and walk through the vineyards to learn more about the wine making. The nature of this village is amazing,hills full of olives,the view of tomorr mountain and much more Eat lunch and transfer to Berat in the late afternoon Check-in Hotel and take your free time to explore the old part of town

Day 2 Berat Apollonia and GjirokasterThe stone city and the ancient ruins

Meet with the tour leader in the morning and transfer to Apollonia, one of the oldest sites in Albania Founded during VII century BC Apollonia was one of the most important cities of Europe during the antiquity Walk around the archeological park to understand more about its history and then visit the archaeological museum. This city has been an important center of Christianity and one of the most interesting churches if Albania is located here. See its church and transfer to Gjirokaster Visit the castle of Gjirokaster the symbol of Albanian resistance against the enemies. Walkthrough the old bazaar where you will see local selling their hand made crafts Check in Hotel and free afternoon to enjoy the town by your own

Day 3 Ardenica and Durres
