Three days food and wine tour

Day 1 – Tirane – Elbasan – Belsh – Berat

Today we are going to visit Elbasan ,Belsh and Berat .

We depart in the morning from Tirane and the first stop will be at Elbasan Castle ,build during XV century by the ottomans .

Visit the Castle and walk in the main Boulevard of the town and after eat a Byrek : Elbasan is famous for

We proceed our journey to Belsh ,with a stop to see the steel factories build during the communist era .

Day 2 – Berat – Roshnik village – Durres

Today we  start with the Historical tour of Berat Castle – The biggest castle in Albania .

Visit the Onufri Museum and the important monuments of the castle

After the city tour depart to Roshnik a small village close to Berat famous for an Indigenous grape called Pules – The local produce a special dry white wine from this grape and they call it Pules ,same as the grape

Day 3 – Durres Kruje Tirane

We will start in the morning with the tour of Archaeological Museum of Durres – The biggest in Albania

Day 1Tirane – Elbasan – Belsh – Berat

Today we are going to visit Elbasan ,Belsh and Berat . We depart in the morning from Tirane and the first stop will be at Elbasan Castle ,build during XV century by the ottomans. Visit the Castle and walk in the main Boulevard of the town and after eat a Byrek : Elbasan is famous for We proceed our journey to Belsh ,with a stop to see the steel factories build during the communist era . The area from Elbasan to Belsh is home of 64 Lakes and in Albania is Known as Dumrea – The area is one of the biggest producer of vegetables as the weather and the land is perfect for farming Lunch in Seferan village located in the Seferan Lake Shore the deepest lake of the Area . The food from farm to table is very tasty and we will eat the specialities of the region . After lunch a wine tasting or a boat trip to Seferan Lake than depart to Berat . Check in Hotel and a free time for you to walk in the Main Boulevard of Berat and see the fantastic historic quarters Gorica and Mangalem Dinner tonight will be in a local family who lives inside the castle of Berat – The best way to know a country is meeting locals and eat their food Before food a glass of home made raki and a conversation with the Family . Day 2Berat – Roshnik village – Durres

Today we start with the Historical tour of Berat Castle – The biggest castle in Albania. Visit the Onufri Museum and the important monuments of the castle After the city tour depart to Roshnik a small village close to Berat famous for an Indigenous grape called Pules – The local produce a special dry white wine from this grape and they call it Pules ,same as the grape. Meet the Fiska family ,they own a small winery and a restaurant in the village . One of the Fiska members will lead us to the winery and talk more about the wines , the grape and their story. The winery is famous also for Raki – a special alcoholic drink for Albanians After the wine tasting tour we proceed to the restaurant to eat the local product – The best Lamp of Berat is here in this area and they cook it with a special technique. Depart to Durres ( If we going to have enough time and you are not tired we can do a visit to Karavasta Lagoon and a Boat trip Overnigh Durres – Free evening

Day 3Durres Kruje Tirane

We will start in the morning with the tour of Archaeological Museum of Durres – The biggest in Albania. After depart to Kruje known as the capital of Albania during XV century, from there Albanians start their resistance against the ottomans . Scanderbeg the Albanian National Hero born in Kruje ,and to learn more about him we will do a visit in Historical Museum and after that we proceed the tour to Ethnographic Museum. Free time for you to walk in Kruje Bazaar ,and if you would like to buy some souvenirs do it here. Lunch in a Small restaurant close to the castle with the typical food of the North. After lunch depart to tirane
