What a great day spent with Daniel and Dike! We chose to walk to reach the summit where we discovered the beliefs of the bektashis. Fantastic Cooking Class
I had a fantastic time at the Berat Cooking Class with Visit Albania Tour Operator. The instructor was knowledgeable and made the cooking process enjoyable. We met Daniel at our hotel to go on a walking tour of Berat. Daniel shared with us lots of historical facts of the city as well as the country, while pointing to us the different landmarks. He was also extremely helpful, going above and beyond, for example helping us navigate our car through the narrow streets, fetching a ride for us at late night. Great guide to an interesting City
I did the Castle City Berat Day tour with Saimir. Saimir is an excellent guide. and he really knows his cultural, religious and human history of the area and loves Berat. It was fun doing the tour with him and he spent a full 3 hours giving information and pointing out points of interest until after dark! The only problem is the company owner or office staff person (not sure which) did not want to do a tour with a solo person or even a couple who walked in to ask for a tour the next day. But when we said the 3 of us would join up they immediately called Saimir to do a tour in 15 minutes so it was a bit rushed to go back to hotel and get proper shoes. Definitely recommended, a great tour!

Fun half day
Excellent half day tour with Daniel! Got to the waterfall early before it was too crowded and very much enjoyed taking our time there. Wine tasting at Pupa winery was good - 1 white, 1 rose, 1 red and a glass of raki. The wines were very good.
